THE IMAGE TO THE BEAST

Rev. 13:11-17

 

 

  1. The “Beast” of  Rev. 13:1-10 is the Roman Catholic Church. This is proven by 21 identification point in Rev. 13:1-10. This is also the little horn power of Daniel 7.

 

  1. The Roman Catholic Church was a UNION of church and state, with the church dominating the state  and using the civil laws of the state to enforce her religious dogmas.

 

 

  1. An image is a likeness – a duplicate.

 

  1. Therefore, an image of the Roman Catholic Church will be formed in the United States when Protestants succeed in influencing the government to enforce Sunday observance by law – a national Sunday law.

 

 

  1. “In order for the United States to form an image  [likeness] of the beast [Roman Catholicism], the religious power must so control the civil government that the authority of the state will also be employed by the church to accomplish her own ends.” GC 443.

 

  1. “ … In the very act of enforcing a religious duty by secular power, the  churches would themselves for an image to the beast. … “ GC 449.

 

 

  1. “The image to the beast represents that form of apostate Protestantism which  will be developed when the  Protestant churches shall seek the aid of the civil powers for the enforcement of their dogmas.” GC 445.

 

  1. “The enforcement of Sunday-keeping in the United States would be an enforcement of the worship of the beast and his image.”  GC 449 se also GC 448.

 

 

  1. “It has been shown that the United States is eh power represented by the beast with lamblike horns [Rev. 13:11-17], and that this prophecy will be fulfilled when they United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy.” GC 579.
